What ShotMatch UGC is

ShotMatch UGC is production software for user-generated-content creators and the agencies that book them. It reads a brand brief you provide, estimates a market rate range, generates hooks, scripts and shot lists, flags contract clauses, and checks recorded footage against the brief.

What it is not

It is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It is not a financial adviser and does not provide financial or investment advice. Rate ranges are estimates from published guidance, not valuations. You are responsible for the content you create, the contracts you sign and the claims you make on camera.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. One subscription covers one creator, except on the UGC Agency plan, which covers the number of creator seats stated on that plan.

Your content

You keep all rights to everything you put in. Briefs and contracts are processed in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers. A video is uploaded only when you upload it yourself in Videos — see Privacy below.

Acceptable use

Do not use ShotMatch UGC to produce content that is illegal, that infringes someone else's rights, or that makes medical, health or financial claims you cannot substantiate.

Changes and termination

We may change features and prices; existing subscribers are told at least 30 days before a price change takes effect. You may cancel at any time. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms.

Liability

ShotMatch UGC is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Refunds and cancellation

Last updated 1 September 2026

  • Free plan. No card is taken, so there is nothing to refund.
  • Cancel any time from your account settings. You are not charged again, and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • 14-day refund. If you are not happy in the first 14 days of your first paid month, write to us and we refund that payment in full — no questions.
  • After 14 days we do not refund part-months, because the plan is monthly and cancelling stops the next charge.
  • If something we sold you does not work, we refund it whatever the date. That is not a policy, it is the obvious thing.

Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

What stays on your device

The brand's brief, the contract and your campaign history are processed in your browser and stored in your browser. They are not sent to us and we cannot read them. Clips you only analyse, or edit in the Studio, stay on your device too.

Videos you upload

When you upload a video in Videos, it is stored in your account with our storage provider, Cloudflare, so you can share it by link. You can delete it at any time. If you ask for an AI opinion on a video, up to three still frames from it, with the product name and niche, are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to produce that opinion.

The AI mentor in the chat

When you chat with the AI mentor, your question and basic profile (name, niche, city) are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to write the answer. Briefs, contracts and deals are never sent.

What we do hold

  • Your email address and the plan you are on.
  • Your public profile and portfolio, if you publish one: your name, handles, photos and the videos you choose to show. It is public because that is its job.
  • If you post a gig or apply to one, what you write in it.
  • Your dashboard settings, so they follow you to another browser.
  • If you use Rate My Deal, the anonymous figures you share — never the brand's email or your name.
  • Payment records, held by our payment processor.
  • Counts of what you use, so your plan's limits work, and basic aggregated usage so we know which features are worth keeping.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs the data they hold.

Your rights

Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it and your account. We do not sell personal data to anyone, ever.

Cookies

We use only what is needed to keep you signed in. No advertising trackers.
